In September Southbound Holiday Cottages Ltd was honoured to provide accommodation to the family of legendary Hollywood Actor Mr Gregory Peck. They were in Dingle to attend the presentation of the 'Gregory Peck' award to Irish Actor and Film Producer Mr Grabriel Byrne. Mr Pecks family stayed in The Blasket View Luxury Cottage and we hope they will honour us with a return visit in the not too distant future. Our return to Ireland for the Dingle Film Festival and the Gregory Peck award, with my children and grandchildren, was a pilgrimage in my husband's honor. His grandmother was from Minard, and for Gregory, the Dingle Peninsula was the most beautiful place on earth. I wish Gregory had been able to look out over his beloved Dingle, from the Blasket View cottage. He would have loved it."

"Three generations of our family stayed in Jerry O'Sullivan's Southbound Properties cottage for the 2008 Dingle Film Festival. We loved the beautiful views of Dingle and the bay. And inside the beautifully furnished house our family found such intimacy and warmth. We invited our long lost cousins from Dingle to visit with us there, and had many late night gatherings in the kitchen to discuss each day's events. The children loved the TV room, and if only we'd had time to take advantage of the outdoor hot tub. Something to look forward to next year, we hope."

We’ve just arrived back after staying the October bank holiday weekend in the luxury lodge in Dingle and I had to email you my comments.
We had a great weekend and the house was amazing. There was nothing I could fault with it, so clean, decorated to a very high level, spacious, perfect for the 5 kids, travel cots were new and clean as were the high chairs and a stair gate which was invaluable. The hot tub was such a great addition, so nice to sit back and relax in it when the kids were in bed. The extras that I really liked, was the tea and coffee, washing up liquid, dishwasher tablets that were provided, so few places do this.
Thank you so much for such an enjoyable stay and we’ll be highly recommending you to all our friends.

So writing this back in Cork in recovery from our weekend in Dingle. We had a wonderful time and the house Ceaderwood was the highlight of the whole weekend. The bride to be felt really special in the hot tub on Friday night with the rain coming down on her ……….. Everyone was so impressed with the whole set up. As the organizer the one thing I can easily say is that is very hard to satisfy 24 women, but I didn’t have one complaint on any of the facilities. I also want to thank you and Linda – you were just a pleasure to deal with, so professional and so easy going about everything, you made it so easy to organsie and made the whole weekend so relaxing. So thank you both so much.

Hi Colette,
We had a great week in the Dingle cottages and it certainly suited our parents and our 2 year old daughter also, she had a great time at the playground and made lots of little friends. We certainly will recommend them to our friends and we might possibly try the luxury cottage next year with more of the family. The leisure centre was great and all the staff very friendly.

We had a fantastic week in Baile an Fheirtearaigh! We enjoyed the use of your lovely house. it was just as I had pictured it from the website. The house was very clean when we arrived and is very well fitted out and we will definitely be back. Will also highly recommend to all our friends.

Hi Colette,
We really enjoyed the break in Dingle. The house was perfect; very spacious, and very well equipped. The description 'luxury property' gets used all too frequently on many holiday rental ads, but Southbound really deserve to be called 'luxury' cottages!
We'll be recommending the cottages and Dingle to our friends and work colleagues, and we will be back!

We had a great week in Ballyferriter, really enjoyed the house, it was lovely, it was a pity about the weather but the facilities in Harmony Health club really made up for it
